The Spraying Systems WashJet® 40° MEG Nozzle is the professional's choice for safe, high-coverage washing. It produces a wide, "soft" fan pattern that maximizes dwell time on the surface while minimizing impact pressure, making it safe for delicate substrates.
Unlike standard tips that "mist" at the edges of a wide fan, WashJet nozzles utilize Even-Edge technology to ensure the water droplets remain large and cohesive across the entire 40° spread. This is critical for rinsing siding or washing vehicles, as it minimizes overspray and ensures every drop of water contributes to the clean.
WashJet MEG nozzles are constructed from premium Hardened 404 Series Stainless Steel. This alloy is engineered to withstand the dual threat of high-pressure erosion and chemical corrosion from softwash mixes (SH). This ensures your wide rinsing pattern remains smooth and consistent long after standard stainless tips have washed out.
Selecting the wrong orifice size is the #1 cause of decreased performance.

Professional 40° Use Cases:
Because WashJet nozzles are available in the large Orifice Sizes required for J-Rods and nozzle holders, they serve dual purposes for Softwash and high pressure applications.
40° Tips can be used in J-Rods and other softwash nozzle holders and are a popular choice of some contractors who prefer the wider spray pattern than the typical 25° fan that is standard in most pre-built kits.
| Your Machine | Standard Rinse Tip (High Pressure) |
Standard Soap Tip (Low Pressure) |
|---|---|---|
| 2 - 3 GPM | Size # 10.0 | Size # 30.0 |
| 3.5 - 4.5 GPM | Size # 10.0 | Size # 40.0 |
| 5 - 6.5 GPM | Size # 15.0 | Size # 40.0 |
| 7 - 8.5 GPM | Size # 20.0 | Size # 60.0 |
Note: Installing a #30 - #60 nozzle on a standard machine will drop pressure drastically, automatically engaging your downstream chemical injector.
