Medium-Wide Angle | Balanced Impact & Coverage

The Spraying Systems VeeJet® 50° Nozzle offers a balanced spray pattern for low-pressure applications. It provides a tighter fan than the 65° or 80° versions, delivering slightly more impact force for dislodging light debris while still maintaining excellent surface coverage.

This 50° angle is the preferred choice for conveyor belt cleaning and targeted rinsing where "flooding" the surface isn't enough, and a mild scrubbing action is required.

✅ Tapered Edge Design

VeeJet nozzles feature a specially machined orifice that creates tapered edges to the spray pattern. This allows for uniform coverage when multiple nozzles are mounted on a spray bar or manifold, as the tapered edges overlap to prevent "striping."

⚠️ Pressure Rating Warning

This series is rated for a maximum of 500 PSI. It is NOT designed for high-pressure blasting.

  • Correct Use: Downstream injection, city water pressure, booster pumps, sprayer pump, softwash application (under 500 PSI).
  • Incorrect Use: Direct connection to a 4000 PSI pressure washer pump outlet.

Technical Specifications

Model Spraying Systems VeeJet® (H-U Series)
Thread Type 1/4" NPT Male

Professional 50° Use Cases:

  • Conveyor Cleaning: Ideal for spray bars mounted over conveyor belts to rinse off product residue.
  • Parts Washing: Used in automated parts washers where 65° is too soft but high pressure is not available.
  • Dust Suppression: Creates a focused wet zone to prevent dust from rising on transfer points.

💡 Did you know?

The "Vee" in VeeJet refers to the internal V-notch cut that forms the spray pattern. This shape allows for a higher volume of flow at lower pressures compared to the "cat-eye" shape of a high-pressure MEG nozzle.
