Wide Coverage & Gentle Washing | Siding - Windows - Vehicles

The BE Power Equipment 40° MEG Nozzle is designed for delicate surfaces and wide-area rinsing. Machined from Hardened 400-Series Stainless Steel, it resists wear significantly better than standard brass tips.

The 40° spray angle produces a wide, lower-impact fan. This wide pattern is ideal for cleaning and rinsing windows, siding, and vehicles because it spreads the pressure out, drastically reducing the risk of damage to paint and softer surfaces.

✅ Why Hardened Stainless Steel?

Softwash mixes (SH) corrode standard brass tips rapidly, ruining their spray pattern and causing "striping" on siding. Hardened Stainless Steel is engineered to withstand the dual threat of high-pressure erosion and chemical corrosion. This ensures your wide fan pattern remains smooth and consistent for years.

⚠️ Precision Sizing Required

Selecting the wrong orifice size is the #1 cause of decreased performance.

  • Too Small: Restricts flow, causing back-pressure that can damage pumps.
  • Too Big: Drastically reduces impact pressure, turning your washer into a garden hose.

Spray Angle Color Guide

Note: MEG nozzles are unpainted stainless steel. The list below references the matching Quick Connect industry standard colors.

  • 🔴 0° (Red): Cutting / Hydro-Excavation / J-Rod High Reach.
  • 🟡 15° (Yellow): Chiseling / Paint Stripping.
  • 🟢 25° (Green): Flushing / Surface Cleaners / J-Rod Close Application.
  • 40° (White): Washing / Windows / Siding.

Professional 40° Use Cases:

  • Windows & Siding: The wide 40° fan is the safest option for cleaning fragile surfaces like glass, vinyl siding, and stucco.
  • Vehicle Washing: Ideal for fleet washing and detailing. The 40° pattern covers large panels quickly and gently rinses away soap without damaging decals or paint.
  • Final Rinse: Excellent for "chasing" dirty water off a driveway or parking lot after surface cleaning.

💧 Softwash & J-Rod Sizing Guide

This product line is compatible with the SOAP or RINSE slots of standard Softwash J-Rods.

Your Machine Standard Rinse Tip
(High Pressure)
Standard Soap Tip
(Low Pressure)
2 - 3 GPM Size # 10.0 Size # 30.0
3.5 - 4.5 GPM Size # 10.0 Size # 40.0
5 - 6.5 GPM Size # 15.0 Size # 40.0
7 - 8.5 GPM Size # 20.0 Size # 60.0

Note: 40° tips are versatile. Large orifices (#30-60) are used for applying soap (Chemical Draw), while standard orifices (#04-10) are used for rinsing.

🔧 Installation Note: NPT threads are tapered. They require force to seal. Always use thread tape to prevent "galling" (friction welding) and to ensure a leak-proof seal.
