Maximum Impact: Jet and Cutting Nozzle

The BE Power Equipment 1/4" MEG 0° Nozzle is the "scalpel" of the pressure washing world. Engineered for maximum impact and cutting power, this nozzle delivers a concentrated pencil-jet stream capable of breaking up concrete, stripping paint, or reaching high elevations.

Unlike standard brass fittings which erode quickly under high pressure, these are machined from Hardened 400-Series Stainless Steel. This durability allows the nozzle to maintain a tight, laser-focused stream, making it the ideal choice for hydro-excavation and heavy equipment detailing.

✅ Why Hardened Stainless Steel?

Standard stainless tips eventually "wash out" under high-velocity flow, losing their sharp edge. Hardened Stainless Steel is engineered to withstand the dual threat of high-pressure erosion and chemical corrosion from softwash mixes (SH). This ensures your stream remains tight and consistent long after standard nozzles have failed.

⚠️ Precision Sizing Required

Selecting the wrong orifice size is the #1 cause of decreased performance.

  • Too Small: Your unloader valve will bypass water to limit pressure. This reduces the flow rate at the tip, killing your cleaning efficiency.
  • Too Big: System pressure drops drastically, significantly reducing your impact force and cleaning power.

Spray Angle Color Guide

Note: MEG nozzles are unpainted stainless steel. The list below references the matching Quick Connect industry standard colors.

  • 🔴 0° (Red): Cutting / Hydro-Excavation / J-Rod High Reach.
  • 🟡 15° (Yellow): Chiseling / Paint Stripping.
  • 🟢 25° (Green): Flushing / Surface Cleaners / J-Rod Close Application.
  • 40° (White): Washing / Windows / Siding.

Common Professional Use Cases for 0° (Red):

  • Hydro-Excavation: The primary choice for "potting" or trenching. The hardened steel resists the abrasion of "blowback" sand and dirt far better than brass.
  • Heavy Equipment (Tracks): Ideal for knocking huge chunks of dried mud or clay out of excavator tracks and bulldozer undercarriages.
  • Concrete Cleaning: Used for removing deeply embedded oil stains or gum (Warning: Keep nozzle moving to avoid etching the concrete).
  • Height Reach: The tight stream cohesion allows water to reach 2nd or 3rd-story eaves where a fanned spray would break up.

💧 Softwash J-Rod Compatibility

This product line is compatible with the RINSE slots of standard Softwash J-Rods.

Your Machine Standard Rinse Tip (High PSI) Standard Soap Tip (Low PSI)
2 - 3 GPM Size # 10.0 Size # 30.0
3.5 - 4.5 GPM Size # 10.0 Size # 40.0
5 - 6.5 GPM Size # 15.0 Size # 40.0
7 - 8.5 GPM Size # 20.0 Size # 60.0

Note: These nozzles are for RINSING Only. For Chemical Draw (Low/High Soap), you typically require sizes #30.0 - #60.0 which are not included in this listing.

🔧 Installation Note: NPT threads are tapered. They require force to seal. Always use thread tape to prevent "galling" (friction welding) and to ensure a leak-proof seal.
