Warning: Undersized hoses cause pump starvation (cavitation). Use this guide to protect your equipment:
| 1/2" ID Hose | For machines up to 3.0 GPM. |
| 5/8" ID Hose | For machines up to 4.5 GPM (Max 100' Length). |
| 3/4" ID Hose | For runs longer than 100 Feet or machines 5.0+ GPM. |
⚠️ TANK FEED WARNING:
Garden hose and GHT fittings are
NOT recommended for suction lines (tank-to-pump). The hose can collapse and restrict flow and the fittings can vibrate loose and allow air into the suction lines.
The Rule: Use non-collapsible suction hose at least
1 size larger than your pump inlet.
(Example: 1/2" Pump Inlet requires 3/4" ID Suction Hose).
Always use a high-flow Can-Type filter for tank-fed systems.
